6th Grade Social Studies Teacher

I grew up across the West Coast and spent my high school years in Omaha, Nebraska. The one thing that remained consistent across the many states I lived in and schools I attended was history – no matter where I went it was a guarantee that the past remained the same. I fell in love with world history because of a Magic Treehouse Book I read during third grade, and there is nothing I am more passionate about than introducing young, inquisitive minds to the magic of history. 

I earned by B.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (GBR!) and am so excited to call Lawrence and LMCMS my home. I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade World History and cannot wait to "time travel" into the past every single day as we learn about ancient civilizations and people.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy rewatching my favorite TV shows, cuddling with my senior cat, crocheting and knitting, and reading books.
