My name is Megan Bost and I have been the Woodlawn school nurse since 2023. Many years ago, I worked at Woodlawn as a para and health aide, so I know what a special school this is. I love being a support for students and families who are managing chronic illnesses. I have been an LPS school nurse since 2018. Prior to that, I worked at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 11 years. I received my bachelor's in nursing from Washburn University.

 

I am a Lawrence townie, having attended Lawrence Public Schools. I am married with 2 sons who are both LPS students. We have 2 very active dogs. I love to spend as much time in the water as possible-lakes, pools, oceans, you name it! I also enjoy reading, taking my dogs on walks, watching movies, and playing games with my family.
