My name is Megan Bost, and I am very excited to be joining the Woodlawn community as a school nurse this year. Many years ago, I worked at Woodlawn as a para and health aide, so I know what a special school this is. I love being a support for students and families who are managing chronic illnesses. This is my 6th year as a nurse in the district. Prior to that, I worked at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 11 years. I received my bachelor's in nursing from Washburn University.

 

I am a Lawrence townie, having attended Lawrence Public Schools. I am married with 2 sons who are both LPS students. We have 2 very active boxers named Rex and Hazel. As a family, we like to boat and swim A LOT, go camping, watch movies, and spend as much time with friends and family as possible.
