Community Conversations That Count

Lawrence Public Schools is in the next phase of our multi-year strategic planning work.

During the 2024-25 school year we engaged hundreds of students, staff, families, and community members in Community Conversations and surveys to understand where we are doing well, where we must improve, and what our shared priorities should be moving forward.

This winter, we are launching Community Conversations again to check back in on progress, share updates, and hear how our work is showing up in the experience of students, staff, and families — across classrooms, on buses, and in hallways across our district.

The magnitude and quality of input we received from you through our 2024-25 Community Conversations meetings and surveys was both staggering and incredible. Using that input from our community, we developed various plans for strengthening and enhancing key programs across Lawrence Public Schools.
