NSDA Nationals results are in! Thirteen scholars from Lawrence High School and Free State High School attended the 2025 National Speech and Debate Association National Championship in Des Moines, Iowa last week alongside thousands of fellow debate and forensics competitors.

Additionally, a new award has been established that will be given annually, called the "Julie Boyle Heart and Spirit Award".

Resilience. That word kept coming to mind for Principal Mark Preut as he reflected on this year's Adult Learning Center and Diploma Completion Program graduates.
On their last day of the 2024-2025 school year, students at Woodlawn Elementary School commemorated the end of their 282-day journey and got a sneak peak of summer vacation during a party featuring friends, educators, music, dancing, and a whole lot of foam.
