SURROUNDING AREAS:
Lawrence is only a quick 25 minute drive from both the capital city of Topeka and Kansas City, which is home to many entertainment and shopping districts as well as a rich arts scene. Aside from the University of Kansas's Legendary Allen Fieldhouse, which is home to the Kansas Jayhawks, Lawrence is also a 30 minute drive from three professional sporting arenas: Chiefs football, Royals baseball and Sporting Kansas City soccer. Directly outside of Lawrence is Clinton Lake and State Park, which is great for boating, camping, hiking, or swimming.
