Welcome to Lawrence Public Schools! We are excited to partner with both you and your child as we create the foundation for a positive and robust educational journey!

Children who reach the age of five on or before August 31, 2023, are eligible for kindergarten enrollment (Kansas Statute 72-1107). Register your student here! Be sure to choose the registration form for the 2023-2024 school year. If you do not have internet access, you may come to our Enrollment Center at 110 McDonald Drive, and we will be happy to assist you.

To complete your student's registration, you will need to provide the following documents: proof of residency, a certified copy of your child's birth certificate, your child's immunization record, and a health assessment conducted by a physician/health care provider within one calendar year prior to school entry. You may drop off these documents at either your child's school, or the Enrollment Center, after completion of your online registration.

During Kindergarten Orientations in the spring, your children will have the opportunity to meet kindergarten teachers, and participate in fun, educational activities. Following are the specific dates and times of each scheduled orientation. We encourage families to complete their online registration prior to Kindergarten Orientation.
