Hi all! I teach Second Grade at New York. I have been at New York Elementary since 2016. I have experienced a lot of different jobs within the education field and have enjoyed each one.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Education from Kansas State University. Go Wildcats!! I hold two Master's degrees also. I am a certified reading specialist and library media specialist.

I am originally from Kansas and have lived all over the Kansas City metro. I currently live in Grandview, Missouri. I have three wonderful kids of my own that I spend lots of time with. I have two boys and a girl. My kids and I love to go on adventures, play board games, do art/craft projects, and have Mariokart tournaments together.  I also have 2 kitties, 6 dogs, and a bunch of various small animals. In my spare time, I breed French bulldogs. I also run a small animal rescue with my goal to find new homes for the rescues I take in. For fun, I love to go see live music, watch movies, cook, read, travel, do arts and crafts, and compete in trivia contests. I love the outdoors and anything adventurous.
