Ms. Berenice Weisel
Hello!
My name is Berenice Weisel and I am the ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher at Southwest Middle School. I have worked at Southwest since 2013 and have loved every year! During my years at SWMS, I have worked as a paraprofessional, ED/BD teacher, and Secondary Therapeutic Classroom teacher, 7th grade English teacher, and ESL teacher. As an ESL teacher, I support students in a variety of ways, depending on their own unique needs and skills to help them navigate middle school in a supportive, flexible, and helpful environment.
I am looking forward to working with our Bulldogs as we explore the English language through reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
