I received my degree in elementary education from The University of Kansas. I started my teaching career student teaching at Quail Run, in 4th grade!  After graduation, I taught in Liberty, Missouri and Louisville, Kentucky before returning to teach in Lawrence.  While those different positions provided a wide variety of experiences, I am looking forward to the fun experiences this year at Quail Run.  As for my family, my two boys, Brandon and Kyle, are students in the Lawrence Public Schools system. Brandon is a 10th grader and Kyle begins 8th grade at Southwest Middle School.  I’m sure I’ve met many of you at Book Fairs, Carnivals and other QR activities through PTO, but I look forward to teaching your children this year!
