Currently, 8 of our 14 Elementary Schools have raised bed gardens. The remaining 6 school gardens will be built in the coming years. The elementary school gardens differ in size and planting depending on the needs of each school. Schools are encouraged to develop their own unique garden identity to best support the needs of their teachers and students. Each school has a Garden Coordinator, a teacher in their building, who helps connect their building to district wide resources. For more information, please contact Jennie Lazarus, Outdoor Education Coordinator, at email@example.com.
