Hello! My name is Jaci Richardson and I’ve been working in education for over 10 years. I grew up in Salina, Kansas and graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a degree in education. After graduation I moved to Lawrence and fell in love with it! I began my career in Lawrence as an autism paraprofessional and soon after began working as a classroom teacher.
In my spare time I love spending time with family & friends, soaking up nature's beauty, gardening, cooking, and traveling. So far I’ve been lucky enough to see Ireland, England, Jamaica, and Mexico. If I had a superpower, it would definitely be teleportation! My family includes my son Mason (6) who will be attending First Grade this year at Quail Run Elementary, and my two mini schnauzer’s Maylee & Milo (11) who spend most of their day lounging on the couch.
As an educator, I am dedicated to creating a personalized learning environment in my classroom. I believe that forming lasting relationships with both students and parents is the key to a successful year. I am looking forward to the year ahead!
