• John K. Bork Memorial Scholarship
    (Lawrence Free State High School)

    John Bork Scholarship The scholarship was started by Jean F. Shepherd in memory of husband John K. Bork to recognize an outstanding student in the wrestling program at Free State High School.

    Criteria:
    Student must be planning to attend a four-year university or a two-year college/junior college/vocational/technical school.
    Student lettered in wrestling at Free State High School.
    Student has exhibited leadership qualities and high academic standards.
