• Bill and Gunnar Zimmerman Motivational Award
    (Lawrence High School)

The scholarship was established by Nancy Zimmerman, who refused to give up on anyone. This award is to be given as a positive endorsement of unfulfilled potential in a student whose GPA is 1.5-2.75. This is a “second chance” scholarship for students who would not qualify for scholarships based on academic merit.

    Criteria:
Interest in studying English, art or music at an accredited institution or the military.
Must be nominated by a teacher in art, music or English, or by a dean or counselor.
    GPA must be 1.5-2.75.
