Ms. Kelly Walker
Kelly Walker, LMSW, is an enrolled member of the MHA Nation of North Dakota and is Arikara, Hidatsa, and Comanche. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master’s of Social Work after obtaining her Bachelors degree from Haskell Indian Nations University and holds a Licensed Master of Social Work certification from the state of Kansas.
Prior to joining our team as the Native American Student Services (NASS) Coordinator, Kelly gained experience working as a WRAP Therapist at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center and then as a social worker at Kansas City’s Indian Center. Including her clinical work, Ms. Walker has experience working with adults, children, and families with mental health and substance abuse issues, developmental disabilities, and other medical conditions.
