My name is Lisa Lyke, and this is my 8th year as the school counselor at LVS. I live in Buffalo, NY, with my husband and two Chihuahuas, and an interesting fact is that we live directly across the street from the city zoo, which means we hear the animals frequently.    

Though I now live in NY, I was born and raised in Kansas, so I’ll always be a Kansas girl at heart.  I graduated from FHSU with a BA in English education and from K-State with a MS in school counseling.  I have 20+ years of experience in education – 15 in the classroom and 13 in the virtual world. 

I enjoy working with young people, and I look forward to working with and assisting you in all your academic, social/emotional, and college and career readiness needs.
