Presently, I am working as an Administrative Assistant at the Lawrence Virtual School as the High School Registrar. I enjoy working for LVS because of the determined dedication of great faculty and staff at the Virtual School. But more importantly, LVS is a wonderful place to work because everyone genuinely strives to have a significant positive impact on the educational lives of students of all ages and from all parts of Kansas.

I grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, and attended Cordley, Centennial, Hillcrest, Central Jr. High, and Lawrence High School, class of 1978. I have also been employed by the district in several capacities, including Special Education Para-educator, ISS non-instructional Para, warehousing/supply, print shop, secretary, and as a custodian. Being a late bloomer, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Science at Emporia State University in 2008, with my major in History and my minor in Political Science.
