Summer Moeckel enthusiastically joined the Deerfield team in 2024.  Prior to her time at Deerfield, she was the Curriculum and Instruction Coach at New York Elementary and New York Montessori.  Before her coaching role in the district, Summer taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades for 17 years.  

Summer is a proud graduate of Fort Hays State University, receiving both her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her Master’s degree in Educational Administration from FHSU.
