Welcome West Warhawks!  I currently teach sixth grade science on Team Lightning.  

My career begain in my home state of Illinois teaching fifth grade.  I moved to The Woodlands Texas, a suburb of Houston, where I taught in both public and private schools for 12 years.  After moving to Kansas I taught at Sunset Hill Elementary for three years before sixth grade moved to the middle school level. I have been at West Middle School since 2011.

I love going to the movies, watching sports, listening to music, and spending time with my family and our miniature schnauzer Max. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy the opportunity to help others and inspire others to do the same.  I  am looking forward to our upcoming school year together!
