Lawrence Public Schools offers two courses at the middle school level. 

6th grade, 9 weeks

•   World Languages 6

7th grade, semester

• Spanish 1a

8th grade, year  (*This course does not currently count towards credit for high school graduation.)

• Spanish 1a or 1b

High School

At the high school level, Lawrence Public Schools offers French, German, Latin, Spanish, and Chinese.  All but Chinese are offered at levels l-lV.  These language courses are acceptable as requirements for the Kansas Scholars Program.
