I am excited about being at Deerfield.  This is my second full year here and I could not be more excited about starting this year in 2nd grade!  This is my 18th year teaching and my 15th year teaching 2nd grade.  2nd grade is a magical year for students; we are moving through the learning to read, and  entering the reading to learn phase of education.  It is an exciting time.  I look forward to the year ahead!
