Certain fees and out-of-pocket expenses are associated with sports
    participation at Lawrence High.
These fees help cover many things including but not limited to:
coaches salaries, equipment, transportation, uniforms, and the
Lawrence Public Schools catastrophic insurance premiums for athletes.
Each athlete must purchase an activity ticket ($25) and pay a
participation ($50) or "pay-to-play" fees. The activity ticket is a once
per school year fee while the participation fee is accessed per sport.
Participation fees will be billed to the students account once final rosters are submitted and should not be paid in anticipation of earning a spot on a team or roster.
Each sport may also have out-of-pocket expenses associated
specifically with that sport. They may range from $125 to $1500+.
Should you need financial assistance please see the head coach for that sport.
A current, paid activity ticket will admit any LHS student
grades 9-12 to a regular season home sporting event where admission is charged.

Activity tickets may be paid in advance of tryouts or practices

    • Activity tickets are required for every athlete
    • A billed activity ticket is not a paid activity ticket
    • An activity ticket must be presented to a ticket taker for free admission to an event where admission is charged
      • This includes athletes that are not suited up or on the sidelines/bench
    •  Activity tickets are valid only for games hosted by LHS
      • This includes games at our facilities hosted by another school
Activity tickets and sports fees may be paid in the
    LHS Finance Office M-F
