The LPS Instructional Framework serves as a guiding document for instructional leaders, coaches, and teachers as they collaborate in the design and delivery of effective instruction. Teachers will use the Framework as they plan and deliver curriculum leveraging effective instructional practices. As such, the Framework identifies and defines high yield, research-supported instructional practices, thus allowing all stakeholders to recognize and communicate those practices using a common language. It is fluid and adaptable so as to work with varying teaching styles, content areas, and student needs. The Framework provides scaffolded support to teachers by ensuring an inclusive and equitable learning environment in brick and mortar classrooms, as well as virtual classroom environments. The framework works in tandem with our curriculum design process, walkthrough tool, and school improvement goal-setting.
