Hello!  I am thrilled to be the counselor and a part of the Woodlawn Elementary family.  I look forward to meeting all the students and supporting their academic, career and social-emotional pursuits.  My education includes a bachelor’s degree from KU in social welfare and a master’s degree in school counseling from Emporia State University.  This is my second year as a counselor, my sixteenth in education.  

As a lifelong Lawrence resident, I am proud to be serving students in my community.  I live with my son, Mason, who is a junior at Free State and my boxer dog, Kiwi. I am a soccer mom, lover of the sun and sand (I’m a scuba diver) and I also enjoy photography.  

I know that 2019-20 is going to be a wonderful year at Woodlawn Elementary School.  Let's go!
