I am honored to serve our students and community as a Lawrence school board member. It gives me great pleasure to know that our board is committed to the success of every student, family, and our community.

I am a tribal member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate and a mother of five children. Growing up I attended Deerfield Elementary, West Junior High, and the Lawrence Alternative High School. I received my bachelor’s degree in Indigenous and American Indian Studies from Haskell Indian Nations University, and later, my master’s degree in Geography from the University of Kansas. Most of my experience is working in Tribal Governance/Administration, nonprofit, and youth mentoring programs across the state.
