Hello!

I currently teach AP Biology, Principles of Biology (KU BIOL 101/102) and Biology here at Lawrence Free State High School.  Prior to teaching at Free State, I taught Forensic Science and Principles of Biomedical Science at the Lawrence College and Career Center, and AP Bio, General Bio, and Genetics at Olathe South High School.  I am passionate about my discipline, but my main focus is helping my students learn about the biology that connects us to one another and to the organisms and ecosystems around us.  I hope to help all my students build a firm biological foundation for whatever is next for them.  I also have a sincere interest in helping students develop and engage in original research projects and am looking forward to supporting more students in this capacity!
