Hello Parents!

I am thrilled to be a part of Deerfield Elementary for a fifth year! Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Missouri Western State University and earned my master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University. I have 26 years of teaching experience in several grades including Early Childhood Special Education, 1st grade, 4th grade and Kindergarten and now 3rd grade!

My family has lived in a variety of places and are enjoying living in Lawrence. My husband and I have three grown boys who all live in different states; Kansas, Missouri and Florida. 

2022-2023 will be a great year and I look forward to meeting the Deerfield families!
