Olivia Henning is the Associate Director of Choral Activities at Lawrence Free State High School. This will be her sixth year of teaching, with the last four at LFSHS. She also enjoys working with the theatre department as the Music Director for The Little Mermaid. Olivia received her BME from Emporia State University, specializing in Choral and Instrumental Music. Stingers Up! Ms. Henning is a member of the Kansas Music Educators Association, American Choral Director's Association, and Kansas Choral Director's Association. In 2022, Olivia was recognized as the Kansas Music Educators Association Northeast District Outstanding Young Choir Director. She regularly performs with a community choir and the Tallgrass Chamber Choir. In her spare time, Olivia likes to spend time with family and friends, attend live theatre, hike, read, and tackle DIY projects.
