    Board Announces Selection of Dr. Anthony Lewis as Superintendent

    Lawrence Board of Education President Shannon Kimball announces the board’s selection of Dr. Anthony Lewis, an assistant superintendent in the Kansas City, Missouri school district, as Lawrence superintendent of schools, effective July 1, 2018. The board voted unanimously on Monday, January 29, to approve a three-year contract with Lewis, at a salary of $215,000 for the 2018-19 school year.

    New students may begin 2017-18 enrollment online at any time and from any computer. Visit our Enrollment Center, 110 McDonald Drive, to complete the process. Call the Enrollment Center at 785/330-1921 or drop by between 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for assistance. (Enrollment for the 2018-19 school year will begin in mid-February.)
