Emergency Text Notifications
Lawrence Public Schools is pleased to offer parents/guardians and high school students emergency text notifications. Upon completion of the New Student Registration or Annual Registration process, including providing cell phone contacts and all required documentation, parents/guardians and high school students will be enrolled in emergency text notifications.
Generally, within 3-7 days, the cell phone number(s) you provided during registration should receive this text: "You're registered 4 SchoolMessenger notifications. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Msg&data rates may apply. Msg freq varies. schoolmessger.com/txt"
If you decide that you do not want to receive emergency text notifications from your child's school and the Lawrence school district, reply "STOP" to unsubscribe.
If you accidentally unsubscribe and want to re-enroll in emergency text notifications from your child's school and the Lawrence school district, text "YES" on the same text thread to re-enroll.
Lawrence schools and the school district's communications office will use text messaging sparingly and only to relay emergency information.
