Teacher, 1985-2021: mostly Spanish (but also 1 year of Science) at Lawrence High, Baldwin High, and West Middle School. 

Where did I learn Spanish?  I studied it at KU (along with Biology and Science), studied abroad in Costa Rica, became a member of a wonderful Cuban/Puerto Rican family, and traveled with my high school students to Costa Rica, Spain, Mexico, and Ecuador. 

Favorite things to do:  Besides being with family and friends, I have fun bike riding, walking, reading; and I'm an amateur naturalist and photographer of Kansas' beautiful plants, landscape, and animals.
