Hello! My name is Summer Moeckel and I am the Curriculum and Instruction Coach at New York Elementary and New York Montessori.  Prior to this role, I was an educator for 17 years, teaching 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade.  I was born and raised in western Kansas, and am a proud graduate of Fort Hays State University with degrees in both Elementary Education and Educational Administration.  My husband, Stuart, and I have three wonderful children and two adorable dogs. Our daughter, Brennan (16), loves track and hopes to become a doctor in the near future.  Our son, Braxton (15), spends all his free time playing basketball with friends and wants to be a sports broadcaster.  Our youngest son, Brantley (12), loves theatre and is interested in architecture and interior design.  As a family, we love to travel (especially to Disney World or the ocean) and have a goal to visit all fifty states together.
