This is my first year teaching in the Lawrence Public School district and I am very excited to be teaching in my community! I received both my Undergraduate degree (Applied Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education) and Master’s degree (Early Childhood Unified) from the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk!

For the past ten years, I was a Classroom Coordinator/Lead Teacher at the Hiersteiner Child Development Center with 3½ - 6 year olds at Johnson County Community College. Before teaching at Hiersteiner, I taught in a special education preschool in the Spring Hill school district.

Fostering an environment that makes every child and family feel welcome and that meets their needs are top priorities of mine. Early childhood is an amazing time in a person’s development and I look forward to a great school year!
