I was born in Chicago, but left the United States when I was 6 months of age.  I grew up in Germany and Italy, and returned to the United States when I graduated from high school.  

English is my second language.  I learned German first, then English and Italian at the same time.

I joined the United States Army upon graduation, and served for 21 years.  After retiring from the military, I became a Police Officer, and served in this capacity for the past 18 years.  My assignments have included: Training Officer, Detective, and currently assigned a School Resource Officer (SRO).
