Hi, I'm Mrs. Haenchen!

I taught for 10 years in Arizona and I've been teaching at Hillcrest since 2022. I got my teaching degree from the University of Kansas, go Jayhawks! I grew up in Lawrence and went to school here at Hillcrest! I've been married to my husband since 2017. We have an adorable little boy, Hudson, who was born in 2019, and we have two sweet dogs, Sienna and Kaira. I'm so happy to be teaching at Hillcrest! I have such great memories of this school growing up, and I can't wait to create more with my students!
