James Polk is in his fourth year as the principal at Quail Run Elementary. Mr. Polk came to Quail Run in 2020 after being the principal at Oak Grove Elementary School in the Turner School District for three years. Previously, Mr. Polk was a Curriculum Administrator, Administrative Intern, Learning Coach, and teacher. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his Master's in School Leadership from Baker University. James lives in Kansas City with his wife, Kelsey, his sons Maddox and Emmett, and their new daughter Edie.
