Lawrence Public Schools has partnered with the 1Million Project Foundation to provide free, CIPA-compliant mobile internet hotspots and 10 gigabytes of monthly data to eligible high school students.
High school students 13+ years old who do not have reliable internet access at home are eligible. Students should 1) complete the "Sprint Hotspot Survey" within the GO app on their MacBooks, and 2) ask a parent/guardian to complete and sign the permission form (English form / Spanish form) and return it to their school library.
Please direct any questions to your library media specialist.

Lawrence Schools Foundation Supports Learning Forward, Future Ready
Thanks to a $39,000 donation from the Lawrence Schools Foundation, Lawrence Public Schools purchased 200 additional Kajeet SmartSpot® Hotspots to add to the 120 portable internet devices already available to middle school students for library media center checkout. The portable internet hotspots will be distributed to school library media centers in proportion to the percentage of the student body qualifying for free or reduced-price school lunches.

The donation enabled the school district to purchase 200 additional Kajeet internet hotspots.
Kajeets are available for check-out in all middle school libraries.
