Jennifer Pugsley
High School Music and FACS
I grew up in a small town in southern Johnson County, Kansas. Both of my parents were educators for 30 years, and I grew up in the public school system. I attended Johnson County Community College for my Associates of Arts. I received my Bachelors in Music Education from Baker University and my Masters of Arts in Education from Baker University this past May 2014. I received my Masters of Science of Education Administration from the University of Kansas in May 2020.
This is my 15th year of teaching where I spent the first four years in the Emporia school district working at a local charter school in a one to one K-8 program Virtual and Project Based Learning Environment. This is my tenth year at LVS working at the High School Academy. I am currently teaching Music and Family Consumer Science classes. I also co-sponsor AMP Club, Student Council, Game Club, GSA, eSports, SADD and the Theater Club as well as Coffee House Night and serve on my school committees too.
I am passionate about what we do here at LVS, and I am happy to be here helping students navigate this virtual world!
