Welcome to the 4th Grade!  My name is Ms. Ahlvers, this will be my 7th year at Prairie Park.  When I started at Prairie Park I was the Math ISA after that I taught 5th grade before moving to the 4th grade.  I am originally from Granite City Illinois where I earned my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology before going to Ottawa University where I earned a degree in Elementary Education.  I have three boys, two of whom have gone all the way through the Lawrence School District while my youngest is currently in the 8th grade at LMCMH.  I enjoy going to the dog park with my two dogs Ringo and Bonnie and playing kickball with my teams.
