I was born and raised in the Lawrence area. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University. I began my teaching career 31 years ago at Wakarusa Valley.  I taught there until it closed, and am now in my 6th year of teaching at Sunflower Elementary. My husband Glenn and I have two grown children.  They both reside in the Lawrence area.
