I grew up in Rushville, Missouri where I went to grade and high school. I received my BA in Education at Missouri Western State University.  I taught in Missouri for eight years mostly in 4^th and 6^th grades. I was also a school librarian for three years while in Missouri.  My family and I then moved to Eudora, Kansas.  This is my 11^th year of teaching in the Lawrence School District. I began as a 1^st grade teacher and then moved to the 4^th and 5^th grades. My husband Ramsey and I have 4 children ranging from a senior in college to a fifth grader. We enjoy being active, doing mission trips, and playing games.
