I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska. I hold teaching endorsements in the following areas: Middle School History/Social Studies, K-8 English as a Second Language, K-9 Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. My husband, Sam, and I have spent our entire teaching careers in Lawrence. Our two daughters are products of Lawrence Public Schools. Natalie is an elementary librarian and Alyssa is a high school Social Studies teacher. Education is a passion for our entire family. Teaching history at Southwest is a dream come true for me. I love exposing and exploring ancient world history to and with 6th graders!!!
