Hi there! My name is Brandy Hayes.  Welcome to fifth grade! I am so excited to continue my fifth year of teaching at Quail Run!

I graduated from the University of Kansas in May 2019, with a degree in Elementary Education. Before that, I worked at Raintree Montessori School as an assistant teacher for about two years, where I developed a passion for teaching and helping students succeed. I didn't plan on going back to college, but my experience with these kiddos made me realize that teaching is what I wanted to do. I went back to college in 2014, at the age of 22.     

Lawrence is my home. I was born here, but moved around quite a bit when I was younger. During my time off, after graduating high school and before going to college, I got married and I had my daughter, Abigail (Abby.) She attends Quail Run and will be in 5th grade this school year. In 2021, my husband and I welcomed our second daughter, Emerson (Emmie.) Both of my kiddos are, without a doubt, the lights of my life!
