  • Breakfast and Lunch

On-Site Lunch & Breakfast for Students

     View the Daily Menu Here!

The federal government supported schools in offering free meals to all students during the first two years of the pandemic. Congress did not extend this benefit to the 2023-2024 school year. Families must apply to receive free or reduced-price meals and school fee waivers. The district encourages all families to apply!

Complete the free or reduced-price meals application online (includes language translations) at https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application.

District Nutrition and Wellness staff are happy to assist families with completing the application at the Educational Support Center, 110 McDonald Drive, or by phone at 785-832-5000.

Establish student meal accounts and review lunch menus online at www.usd497.org/FoodService.
