FRIENDLY SMILES DENTAL CLINIC
On Tuesday, February 13 and Thursday, February 15 the Friendly Smiles Program will be offering in-school dental care. If your child does not see a dentist regularly or you would like them to see the in-school dentist, simply fill out a consent form. New forms must be completed each school year.
Friendly Smiles accepts Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Uninsured. There is NO COST to you even if your child is uninsured or not fully covered by commercial insurance. Uninsured students must qualify for free and reduced lunch to participate in our program. Direct dental services provided to your child while in school is completely FREE
Having your child seen by the Friendly Smiles Program dentist in school saves you valuable time, as well as less time is taken from your child’s academics. Top quality care is provided by a licensed dentist and hygienist right in the familiar surroundings of your child’s school. Dental care includes a complete exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride, sealants, restorative care such as fillings, and when needed baby tooth extractions.

Simply fill out the Friendly Smiles consent form or the paper form that will be sent home with your student on either Friday, January 12th or Tuesday, January 16th and return it to your school nurse no later than FRIDAY JANUARY 26TH.

3rd Grade Music Concert Postponed - for those of you who have this on your calendar - please know the date has been postponed. When the new date is chosen we will let you know!
Pre-K through 5th grade parents: Kennedy is VERY proud of our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program. Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads, and other positive role models of a Kennedy student...this is your chance to have another positive influence in the life of you student and their peers. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.
