Dr. Sylvia Trevino-Maack

I have been the School Psychologist at LHS since 2010!

Part of my duties: fostering effective relationships with scholars, problem-solving to develop interventions for their success, designing/ implementing MTSS, GEI, and other progress monitoring systems, supporting effective instruction, administering and interpreting psychological assessments, promoting mental health/ wellness/resilience, and helping create positive classroom environments through the use of positive behavioral support! 

LHS extracurricular: currently the sponsor of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO social media, formerly known as HALO) and co-sponsor of the Yoga and Mindfulness clubs.

I'm Hispanic/Latinx and originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, so I speak Spanish. I'm married and have a daughter in college (Chesty Lion alumn) and a teen now at LHS! 

Favorite hobbies: watching LHS sports games, attending LHS concerts, and helping out with school dances and activities. I also enjoy traveling abroad with LHS students and watching TikTok videos 😁
