Dr. Kat Williams is a multimedia artist and interdisciplinary scholar who is eager to help LMCMS establish its STEAM curriculum. With the beautiful and historic LMCMS school building being just 1 mile from her art studio in Lawrence's warehouse arts district, she's looking forward to sharing her collaborative skills in service to our community's youth. A lifelong learner herself, Dr. Kat earned Bachelor's degrees in Fine Arts and African Studies from KU, a Master's in African Studies and a PhD in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA, and is currently pursuing an MS in Special Education at FHSU.
