Hello, my name is Dave Malloy. This is my first year teaching in Lawrence Public Schools and my first year at Hillcrest.  I am originally from Omaha, NE and graduated from Creighton University in 2011 with my Bachelor of Science. Later, my wife joined the Air Force and we spent 7 years overseas in Japan and Germany. After 7 years as a stay-at-home dad (two children, 8 and 6), we separated from the Air Force and all returned to school.  My wife joined UMKC’s Periodontics Residency Program and I am currently working on my Master's in Elementary Education at Emporia State University. My hobbies include spending time with my family, playing soccer, board games, math, science, reading and generally being active.
