Over the past decades I have carved out a career dedicated to grants management and education. While I enjoyed working in both fields, teaching was always my first passion so I began working with a diverse pool of children, parents, and the community along the east coast as ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. 

 

However, after retirement in 2017 I decided to resume my love for educating children so I assumed the position here at Prairie Park Elementary. So far it has been rewarding and exciting working with my teammates and other staff in Douglas County.

 

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, cooking large meals for my family, traveling, reading/writing, and scrapbooking.
