I am so excited to be a part of Prairie Park's second grade team this year!  Prior to joining Prairie Park, I taught first grade for four years at Pinckney.  Before that, I taught third grade at Pawnee Elementary in the Shawnee Mission school district.  Altogether, I have more than 15 years of experience teaching in a public school setting, as well as preschool, universities, and music.  I like to say I have taught every age from 2 to 72.  Nothing gives me more joy than helping a student learn something new!

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and children and cuddling with our dog, Champ, while reading or doing crafts.
