ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Required Minimum Enrollment: Weight Watchers requires that an At Work site have a minimum of 20 paid participants registered and PAID 1 week prior to the start of the series in order to “start” a Weight Watchers At Work meeting series. Lifetime members at goal are, of course, welcome and encouraged to attend, but do not count toward the 20 required to “start” a meeting.

LPS Wellness Program Data Collection: Anonymous information collected.

Attendance will be tracked at each At Work meeting by the Weight Watchers leader and will later be given to the Staff Wellness Coordinator at the end of each series. The leader has been requested to differentiate between those who stay for the meetings, do a weigh-in only, or simply do not attend the weekly meeting.

Total weight loss for each site will be tracked, but in no way will your individual weight loss ever be known by anyone except your Weight Watchers leader. The Staff Wellness Coordinator will receive a report at the end of each series of each site’s total weight loss, number of participants who reached goal weight, 10% weight loss, or lifetime status. This will be reported anonymously.

Need to miss a meeting? Options: (Always be sure to take your Monthly Pass card.)
1) You may attend another LPS site’s At Work meeting
2) Attend a meeting at the Lawrence Weight Watchers Center.
3) If you are out of town, you may attend one out of town when you have your Monthly Pass with you.

Strawberry Weight Watchers Icon:
All participants who sign up for Weight Watchers At Work meetings will be added to a Weight Watchers icon on First Class for your added benefit of LPS “community” support. This is not available to retirees or anyone without a First Class email address. This forum has been used in the past to share recipes, support, etc.

If you wish to be removed from this icon, please email the Staff Wellness Coordinator.

Refund policy per Weight Watchers:

Inclement weather school closing cancellation policy:If school is cancelled due to inclement weather, then Weight Watchers meetings will be cancelled as well that day. Participants may attend an offsite center meeting that week, and/or simply wait and attend the make-up meeting that will be scheduled once an alternate date is determined based on availability of the Weight Watchers leader and school facilities. The Staff Wellness Coordinator will send an email notification to the affected Weight Watchers group of the reschedule date, time and location, as soon as that information becomes available.
